We are delighted to announce that Placida Lettis Luce will be exhibiting at the Brussels Design Market on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026 at Gare Maritime, Brussels. It is our first international fair, and we will bring to Belgium a selection of original vintage industrial lamps, restored by hand in our workshop near Padua, Italy.
What is the Brussels Design Market
The Brussels Design Market is one of Europe's largest events dedicated to 20th-century vintage design. Twice a year it brings together more than 170 exhibitors from all over Europe, dealers, galleries and restorers of furniture, lighting and decorative objects, and an audience of collectors, architects, interior designers and enthusiasts. The venue is Gare Maritime, the former freight station of Tour & Taxis and one of the finest examples of industrial architecture in the city: hard to imagine a better setting for our lamps.
What we are bringing to Brussels
- Industrial pendant lamps and chandeliers from the 1950s to the 1980s, with their enamelled shades and original patina.
- Tripod floor lamps and theatre spotlights, the most scenic pieces of our collection.
- Desk and wall lamps, articulated and with bellows, rescued from workshops, offices and studios across Eastern Europe.
Every piece is original, not a reproduction: it is dismantled, inspected, cleaned and rewired with new components, preserving the traces of time that make it unique. If you are looking for something specific, get in touch before the fair: we can bring a particular piece from our online shop to Brussels and keep it aside for you.
Why Brussels
Belgium, the Netherlands and France have always been the heart of 20th-century design collecting in Europe. Bringing our work there means introducing the conservative restoration we do in Padua to an audience that values an authentic patina, and meeting the best dealers in the field.

Can the lamps on display be purchased at the fair?
Yes. All pieces on display are for sale and can be collected at the stand or shipped after the fair, within Italy and across Europe.
Can I reserve a lamp from the website and collect it in Brussels?
Yes. Contact us before the fair with the piece you are interested in: we will bring it with us and keep it aside for you.
Are the lamps compatible with Belgian electrical systems?
Yes. All our lamps are rewired with new EU-compliant components and use standard fittings (usually E27) compatible with LED bulbs.
