From 16 to 18 October 2026 Placida Lettis Luce will be exhibiting at Modern MRKT, the special edition of Vintage Market Roma dedicated to modern design, at Ex Officina Forte Trionfale in Rome. We will bring a selection of original vintage lamps, restored by hand in our workshop, to see, switch on and take home.
What is Modern MRKT
Modern MRKT is a special edition of Vintage Market Roma, created together with architect Valentina Bova and Vintagevalovers, in a more intimate venue than the traditional editions. The focus is on design icons, rarities, mid-century and 1990s pieces, lighting, art and homeware, with food trucks, an outdoor vinyl listening area and DJ sets.
What we are bringing to Rome
- Articulated desk and wall lamps, the easiest pieces to fit into a home or studio.
- Pendant lamps and chandeliers from the 1950s to the 1980s, with enamelled shades and original patina.
- Floor lamps and theatre spotlights, for those looking for a statement piece.
Every lamp is original, not a reproduction: it is dismantled, inspected, cleaned and rewired with new components, preserving the traces of time that make it unique. If you have seen a piece in our online shop and want to see it in person, get in touch before 16 October: we will bring it to Rome and keep it aside for you.
